In Design

A historic gristmill dating back to 1846, the Gish Mill will be preserved and transformed in a mixed-use complex, featuring a restaurant, micro-brewery, retail, and lodging. The design seeks to preserve the architectural elements and equipment found in the existing mill, such that the workings and story of the historic mill can still be understood by those who experience the space. The existing grain silos are being converted into short-term rental apartments, and the de-commissioned concrete sluice is being repurposed as the foundation for a large outdoor dining deck overlooking the creek. The project is scheduled to be complete in late 2026.
